\r\n Overview <\/h3>\r\n

This is a shot itinerary for the south east of Tanzania, and we will be doing birding on the deferent\u2019s habitat trip example on the miombo woodland cost forest lowland forest for more than 19 days but on this tripe we will be doing camping and sometime we will be staying on the lodges or small guest house that I know from my previous tripe. The birding it will be done more on miombo woodland and on the cost forest, lowland forest on the Songea, Mtwala and Lindi Region. This tripe it will take as a 19 days to finish. During our travel we will go on the Game Reserve, WMA and Nature Reserve most this area we will need to pay the entrance fee plus camping fee, but I will try to talk to them before we go because I have their contacts<\/p> <\/div>\r\n \t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\r\n 19 DAYS SOUTHERN TANZANIA BIRDING TRIP <\/h3>\r\n

Day bay day Itinerary<\/strong><\/p>

  1. Meat at Iringa town and we will drive to Mufindi forest. From Iringa town to Mufindi it will take 2-3 hours if we will be doing birding on the way. When we get to the lodge we will have time for birding at the forest which is around the lodge or guest house. This place is known as home of these birds down here on list:<\/li>
  2. Wake up early in morning and start birding from 6:30am, our areas will be in forest around lodge \/guest house. Our birding will take 2-3 hours before we back for breakfast. After breakfast we will be driving around different location toward big forest for the forest specias. On this day you may have chance to see same species of day one or can be more new species. Lunch will be saving on way because lunch boxes will be with us on car. After short break of lunch will continue with birding until evening when we get back to dinner and shower. Overnight will be at the same place.<\/li>
  3. Wake up early in morning and put in car all our belongings and leave around 6:30am.This will be long day driving to Songea Region on the miombo woodland for miombo special. Breakfast will be saving on the way at Makambako town which will be around 8:30am.<\/li>
  4. After breakfast will continue with driving while we doing birding on the way until we reach the campsite which will be between Njombe and Songea border.<\/li>
  5. Lunch will be saving at the campsite.<\/li>
  6. It will take us 5-6 hours to the campsite. On this day will be a bush camping. In the afternoon we will do birding around the campsite and back for dinner.<\/li>
  7. Wake up early in morning and start birding 6:30am around the camp site for 3 hours then back to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast everything will be parked in car ready to drive more into the miombo woodland for more species. Lunch will be saving on the way.<\/li>
  8. Then drive back to Songea town in evening for dinner and shower<\/li>
  9. Overnight at Songea heritage cottage.<\/li>
  10. After wake up we will have breakfast before to leave. On this day will be more drive to south west toward Mozambique border for the Lillian\u2019s lovebird and rock prantincole. This is a so complicated day. Birding on the way and we will have lunch on the road when we get to the good miombo. We will do a bush camp for a one day. \u00a0<\/li>
  11. Early in morning birding for 2 hours around campsite then will back for breakfast. Put all our staff in car and drive to songea for shopping and we will have a lunch, at songea after we will drive west part of Selous GR when we gate to the GR or at the campsite, we will do evening birding around the camp site. This will be another bush camping.<\/li>
  12. As normal in early morning birding around campsite from 6:30am. After 2 p to 3 hours will back for breakfast then drive Tunduru town for lunch and after lunch we will drive to lukwati lumesule Game reserve. This game reserve is one of the most southern game reserves in the country and its lay on the Ruvuma River. We will overnight inside the game reserve.<\/li>
  13. Wake up in morning and do birding around the game reserve for 2 to 3 hours before breakfast. After that we will drive to Masasi. Lunch will be saving on the way outside the game reserve. Then drive straight to Masasi town for Overnight<\/li>
  14. Also will buy some staffs which we miss on our food list.<\/li>
  15. Drive to Rondo plateau, but we will bird on the way to rondo, lunch at the age of the plateau or at the camp site. We will bird around the game reserve. Overnight at Rondo plateau<\/li>
  16. Birding around rondo this it will be done by walking before breakfast, after breakfast we will drive into the forest and stop when we see a good please forest birding. Around 1330 we will come back to the camp site for lunch. Then we will have a break. After break we will do birding up to diner evening time.<\/li>
  17. This it will be another long day off drive to Kirwa town. Still were on the birding tripe so soon we see a good spot for a birding we will stop for that. Overnight at kirwa town.<\/li>
  18. We will do birding along the cost for ocean. After morning birding we will drive back to Dar salaam. It\u2019s another long day of driving. Overnight at Dar salaam. END OF TRIP<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
